Terms and Conditions, 2007

1.  Fees and Enrolment

1.1    A trainee is accepted for enrolment on the proviso that he/she attends on the course date and time specified at the confirmation of booking.

1.2    Fees are non-refundable but may be credited against a future course.

1.3    The full course fee should be paid to Excellent Edge-ucation no later than 14 days prior to the course date.

1.4    Upon confirmation of the course date, no variation will be permitted without at least 14 days written notice. Excellent Edge-ucation, reserves the right to change and confirm another date - subject to availability.

1.5    All fees quoted are inclusive of GST. Excellent Edge-ucation must receive all fees without deduction i.e. any charges will automatically be added to the final balance payable. If paying through an overseas bank, proof of payment should accompany your application form.

1.6    In the event of a trainee failing to attend the confirmed course or complete the course for any reason, no refunds will be made and no entitlement to a later date course will be allowed.

1.7    Fees are not refundable if the course is interrupted or cancelled through a natural disaster or terrorism.

1.8    Trainees will not be allowed to attend any course for which full payment has not been received. N.B. A receipt for registration fees will be sent, or given in person, on receipt of payment.

2. Time-frames & Duration of Courses

2.1    A trainee must register 30 minutes prior to the course commencement. Courses commence promptly and hours may vary at the discretion of the Training Director.

2.2    In the event of a trainee arriving late, entry may be refused and will be at the discretion of the Training Director.

2.3    At any time, a trainee may be asked to leave the premises if causing a disruption.

3. General

3.1    A trainee is required to bring his/her own tools, i.e. scissors, combs & brushes. No tools - no entry. Sample scissor kits used during the course must be returned to Excellent Edge-ucation undamaged or be fully replaced.

3.2    All courses, shows & fees are subject to change without prior notice.

3.3    The name Excellent Edge-ucation or Excellent Edges may not be used in any form of advertising whatsoever including advertorials.

3.4    Any trainee who is unable to understand or speak English will not allowed to participate in any practical session without the aid of a competent interpreter who must be engaged and paid for by the trainee.

3.5    If a trainee is dissatisfied with the instruction provided, the trainee agrees to submit the complaint in writing within 24 hours. (This is in addition to the ‘Feedback Sheet'). A trainee agrees that damages are limited exclusively to a refund for the course selected and that he/she is entitled to no other damage - including, but not limited to, consequential, incidental or punitive damages.

The above conditions form the entire basis of the contract between Excellent Edge-ucation and the trainee and may only be altered or waived by the Director of Training.
